Rick Canada is an accomplished business executive with proven success in helping businesses leverage their human capital. In his role as a strategic advisor and executive coach, Rick guides multi-functional C-suite and senior leaders and their teams. Across diverse industries, Rick enables his clients to increase their cross-functional effectiveness to achieve results and sustained growth. Rick uses insightful questions to explore and clarify underlying assumptions, motivations, and drivers to unleash transformational experiences. At the same time, Rick’s action orientation has led to accelerated outcomes for his clients through executive/leadership development, executive coaching, succession planning, and performance management programs that are tied to bottom-line results.

Business Background

Rick holds a BS in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. Rick has contributed to the following publications: Primal Leadership by authors Daniel Goleman, Richard Boyatzis, and Annie McKee; Dialogue and the Art of Thinking Together by author William Isaacs; Stop Selling Start Partnering by author Larry Wilson; Power Base Selling: Secrets of an Ivy League Street Fighter by author Jim Holden; and Vision into Action by authors Tero Kauppinen and Alexander (Sandy) Ogg. Rick and his wife Toni split their time between Chicago, Illinois and western Michigan so they can enjoy the best of urban life and the great outdoors.
