Privacy Policy
1. What Information is Collected from You and How It’s Used
If you are interested in one of our services, you are asked to fill-out an Information Request form with multiple fields of information (i.e., name address, email, etc). We treat the data you submit to us as confidential and use it only to fulfill your request. All future communication is done on an opt-in basis, with you providing us permission to continue our discussion/contact.
If you are interested in purchasing one of our books and having it autographed by our CEO, you can call us to provide the necessary shipping/billing information or sending us an email to [email protected]. In either case, your information is never disclosed or used with any outside party.
Please Note: We provide links on our site to other sites of interest and that we do not review or endorse the content of these sites, or guarantee that they will abide by this privacy policy. Your use of such linked sites is subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the providers of those sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each web site that collects personal information.
2. With Whom We Share Your Information
We do not share your personal information with any company outside of Robertson Lowstuter (R│L). R│L reserves the right to perform statistical analyses and profiling of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in, and use of, the various areas of our site.
3. What Cookies Are and How We Use Them
A cookie is a small amount of data that is stored on your computer’s hard drive and that allows certain products to function without interfering with other computer operations.
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. R/L will not use the information collected to market directly to that person.
4. Security Precautions We Take to Safeguard Your Information
R│L takes precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
While we strive to protect your personally identifying information, the Internet is not fully secure. Consequently, R│L cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.
5. How to Contact Us
