Pat Mater is an accomplished executive coach and valued business partner who guides executives and their teams to maximize their contributions to their organizations. Pat combines coaching and consulting skills with an extensive background in leadership development, training and development, team building, interpersonal growth, and employee relations. Pat is adept at leveraging her client’s strengths, candid in her feedback, and practical in providing them useful tools and resources to enhance their skills. She is known as a strategist with a high-energy, collaborative leadership style, who guides her clients to turn their potential into results.
Business Background
Prior to her work with Robertson Lowstuter and over 20 years of Human Resources consulting and coaching practice, Pat has worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies at the corporate, division, and plant levels. Pat held roles as an HR leader with American Hospital Supply, Baxter Healthcare, and Caremark, Inc. Prior to those roles, she was a Manufacturing and Corporate Supervisor with Owens Corning Fiberglas.
Pat is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) where she achieved the Senior Certified Professional certification (SHRM-SCP) and the Senior Professional Human Resource designation (SPHR) through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and is a member of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC).
