Mike Cannizzaro

Michael N. Cannizzaro is an Executive and Career Coach with an accomplished background as a senior executive in the healthcare products and services industry. He has decades of experience in both publicly traded and privately held companies. Mike most recently served as Chairman of the Board of Behavioral Health Group, a Dallas-based portfolio company of the PE firm Frontenac Company. Mike assisted in the pre-acquisition diligence process through successful acquisition. Mike’s earliest leadership experiences included domestic and international roles at Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Caremark International, where he led the Pharmacy Benefit Management division to record sales, doubling revenue in three years. Mike served in leadership roles of other private equity-backed companies, such as Beltone Electronics, a portfolio company of J.W. Childs Associates. Upon the successful sale of Beltone to a strategic buyer, Mike then became a Managing Director, and later an Operating Partner, of J. W. Childs Associates. Mike is known for his expertise in identifying the indispensable work that leaders must address to maximize their company’s P&L impact. He is a skilled sounding board for real business issues, knowing private equity from both sides of the table. Mike holds a degree from Loyola University of Chicago.
