Kathryn M. Hartrick

Kathryn Hartrick is an executive and career coach who combines over 25 years of employment law expertise with first-hand knowledge of business needs and employee-employer relationships.  She has held senior corporate counsel and HR positions with global publicly traded corporations such as:  Career Education, Wolters Kluwer, and United Stationers. Kathryn was a Senior Attorney at Seyfarth Shaw, taught Employment Discrimination at Loyola University School of Law, and served as Deputy Commissioner for the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations discrimination agency.  She has fostered ethical cultures by developing employment law and compliance programs, and engaged in over 200 interactive training programs.  She works closely with corporate law departments, HR, and business executives in coaching and solving sensitive and difficult employment issues.  She’s a certified mediator and former volunteer with Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR).  She leads the North Shore Labor & Employment Counsel (the “NSLC”), and she serves on the Board of Directors for the human resources organization, NISHRM.  She is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC).  Kathryn’s coaching training comes from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).  Her law degree is from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where she served on the Law Review, and her BBA is from the University Of Michigan Ross School Of Business.
