Dr. Al Spicer has more than 15 years as an executive, career, and leadership development coach.  Al’s coaching approach is specifically designed to equip executives to navigate their way through the complexities and challenges that go hand in hand with the demands of leadership. Through his intuitive strengths and a process of powerful inquiry, strategic problem solving, and rigorous support, Al enables clients to discover new, often innovative, and permanent solutions to long-standing challenges.  It is typical for Al’s clients find themselves unlocking more of their potential, and their teams having a resolve and clarity not previously experienced.  Through his keen insights, he regularly enhances the EQ of leaders and their teams.  Al earned his doctoral degree (PsyD)  in clinical psychology, with a specialty in systems theory, from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago. Credentialed by the International Coach Federation (ICF) for over a decade, he is a professional certified coach (PCC).  He earned a BA from the University of Colorado, Boulder in psychology and communication. He gained specialized coaching skills as a graduate of both Coach University and The Coaches Training Institute (earning CTI’s co-active coach certification, CPCC). As a longstanding member of ICF, he was also an executive board member of the ICF Chicago Chapter for four years, and served as the 2003 President.
